You will not find these P226 LDC models in any Sig Sauer catalog.

It is a limited edition model that was made in Germany and imported by Sig Sauer USA.

There is a story behind this batch of firearms that makes it rare and collectible.

The lower frame and the slide are made of stainless steel, which is not common for the run of the mill P226 series, that are ususally made out of aluminium.

The barrel is a heavy crowned bull barrel with a diameter of 15mm, which is also not common for the P226 series.

The barrel to slide fit is excellent, no play whatsover, and the slide to frame fit is also very tight, which contributes to the accuracy and reliability of the pistol.

The frame is marked US17 and DE Part number: E26R-9-BAS-LDC-DE.

It has extended slide stop and decocker levers, which are flared and oversized, making it easier to operate the pistol.

The front sight is fiber optic red installed can be red or green (included), or whatever. and the rear sight is fully adjustable for windage and elevation, which allows for better accuracy and target acquisition.

I have two of these pistols available, both in new condition, and they come with three 17-round Italian MecGar magazines each, in black NitronĀ® finish.

The pistols are in new condition, with no signs of wear or use, and come in their original boxes with all the paperwork and accessories.

The price is $3500 each, which is a fair price for such a rare and collectible firearm.

Pistols are triple serialized (serial on slide, barrel, and frame), and are SEQUENTIAL, - one pistol Serial Numbers end in 777 the other pistol in 778.

I had another one of these pistols, that I used and it was absolutely flawless, accurate, and pleasure to shoot.
The trigger pull is smooth and consistent, making it easy to shoot accurately on Double Action and light and crisp on Single Action.
The extended controls are very ergonomic and easy to operate, even with gloves on, also can replaced with standard or Legion controls if desired.

This P226 has a full length dust cover which makes it much different from most other Sig pistols. Additionally, it has a some pretty desirable features:

Frame marked US17 and DE Part number: E26R-9-BAS-LDC-DE
